Why not just Claude?

A fair question. The short answer: Claude is the model. DANIC OS is the delivery system around it — including the compliance that becomes mandatory in 2026.

What stock Claude and coding agents solve well

Claude, Devin, Factory & co. solve delivery: code ships faster, reviews get lighter, prototypes stand in days. If that is all you need, a coding agent serves you well — that is not the competition we pick.

What they don't solve

The 2026 AI-agent market is fragmented into camps: coding agents solve delivery, governance platforms like watsonx solve compliance — none solve both. If you are in EU-AI-Act scope (Art. 6–15 for high-risk systems applies from August 2026), a coding agent hands you a second problem: evidence, approvals and audit trails live in a separate system — or nowhere.

The DANIC approach: compliance is part of the code

In DANIC OS, approval markers, SHA binding and the audit trail emerge as artifacts inside the delivery flow — EU AI Act Art. 14, GDPR Art. 5(2) and BSI C5 OPS-09 as code, not as an overlay. If you ship software under compliance obligations, you don't need a second tool. You need the right delivery system.

Ownership instead of lock-in

You receive a template your team deploys and owns. DANIC remains a distributor under Art. 25(4) — no SaaS lock-in, no data flowing into someone else's platform.

And frankly

We don't claim to be more autonomous or faster than every coding agent. Our claim is different: auditable, ownable, EU-ready. Whether that fits your context is fastest settled in a call — or measure your own status in the maturity check.
